Softball Recap: Cypress Christian Comes Up Short

Cypress Christian lost against The Woodlands Christian Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Cypress Christian came up short against The Woodlands Christian Academy, falling 12-2. Cypress Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cypress Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KK Smith, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3. Katelyn Bienko also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Cypress Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3-1.

While Cypress Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
