Volleyball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy lost against Pleasant Ridge back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1.

Troy might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Pleasant Ridge: every set was decided by two points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 25-23.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Pleasant Ridge, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-13-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Troy is set to challenge their familiar foe Jefferson County North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pleasant Ridge will take on rival McLouth on Thursday.
