Basketball Game Preview: LaGrange Grangers vs. Sandy Creek Patriots

The LaGrange Grangers will face off against the Sandy Creek Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

LaGrange is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Troup County just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. The game between them and the Tigers didn't end well, with LaGrange falling 60-45. The Grangers were down 52-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Sandy Creek had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulldogs 79-38. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

LaGrange's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Sandy Creek, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
