Basketball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the McDonald Blue Devils, falling 54-34. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-27 back in December of 2024.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for McDonald, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Waterloo will welcome Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McDonald, they will square off against Jackson-Milton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Jackson-Milton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
