Baseball Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Jacksonville suffered their closest loss since May 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Vilonia Eagles by a score of 6-4. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Jacksonville now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Vilonia, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Jacksonville will face off against Benton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vilonia, they will square off against Lonoke at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
