Harpeth waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Jo Byrns Red Devils. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Houston Greer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Harpeth is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-11-1 otherwise. Greer was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025.

Harpeth's record is now 14-12-1. As for Jo Byrns, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harpeth will venture away from home to face off against Stewart County at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jo Byrns, they will head out to square off against Trousdale County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
