Volleyball Recap: South Salem Extends Winning Streak to Four

South Salem entered their tilt with McKay on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Royal Scots.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 22-25, 27-25.

Matheus Borges paced South Salem's offense, picking up 15 kills. Borges got some help from Connor Wolfgram and his 30 assists. Logan Scott controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

South Salem's win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, South Salem will be taking part in a tournament against Nelson at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. McKay will be paying especially close attention to the Saxons' matchup: after the Saxons faces off against Cascade, they'll take on McKay again at 7:00 p.m. on May 6.
