Unioto dropped their record down to 12-9 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 7-1 to the Adena Warriors. The Shermans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 14-4.
Kendal Walker was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Unioto saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Eisel, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Adena will square off against rival Piketon at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Warriors have won five straight at home, while the Redstreaks won eight straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
