Softball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

Milford and Delaware Military Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Milford had to settle for second. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seahawks. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Buccaneers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Delaware Military Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Delaware Military Academy, they will challenge Lake Forest on Thursday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Seahawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
