Basketball Recap: Edsel Ford Takes a Loss

If Edsel Ford was riding high fresh off their 72-52 takedown of Anderson last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds fell just short of the Lincoln Park Railsplitters by a score of 60-57 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Railsplitters are ranked 91st).

Edsel Ford's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lincoln Park, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Edsel Ford has already played their next contest, a 55-53 defeat against Taylor on the 16th. As for Lincoln Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-38 win against Anderson on the 16th.
