Soccer Recap: Fabens Comes Up Short

Fabens lost against Riverside back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fabens Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Riverside Rangers. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Fabens' loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Riverside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Fabens will be playing at home against Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bowie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to challenge Ysleta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
