Basketball Recap: Gettysburg Takes a Loss

Gettysburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to the West York Area Bulldogs at home by a 56-38 margin. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 602nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 126th).

Gettysburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for West York Area, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Gettysburg has already played their next matchup (against Northern Lebanon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West York Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-59 victory against Middletown on the 3rd.
