Football Game Preview: Clarence Red Devils vs. Williamsville South Billies

Clarence has won eight straight games at home, while Williamsville South has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Red Devils will welcome the Billies at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Clarence's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Grand Island with a sharp 26-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Red Devils' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Vikings are ranked 55th).

Meanwhile, Williamsville South got the win against Niagara-Wheatfield on Saturday by a conclusive 26-0.

Williamsville South's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Clarence, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.

Clarence was able to grind out a solid win over Williamsville South in their previous matchup on May 2nd, winning 25-14. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Billies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
