The matchup between Rockford and Watertown-Mayer on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Rockets' pitchers stepped up to hand the Royals a 23-0 shutout. The Rockets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory was the third in a row for Rockford, bringing their record up to 8-1.
