Basketball Game Preview: Pinewood Christian Patriots vs. Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats

Two dominant guards in Banks Hearn and Gavin Fox are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Pinewood Christian Patriots will face off against the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pinewood Christian is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Pinewood Christian took a blow against St. Andrew's, falling 77-27. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while the Lions are ranked 61st).

Meanwhile, Westminster Schools of Augusta didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Frederica Academy on Friday, but they still walked away with a 43-39 win.

Westminster Schools of Augusta's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Pinewood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Pinewood Christian came up short against Westminster Schools of Augusta in their previous matchup back in January, falling 52-46. Can Pinewood Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
