Soccer Recap: Inglemoor Triumphs

Inglemoor proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars 3-2. This was payback for Inglemoor, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Inglemoor is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Bothell/Inglemoor, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Inglemoor will challenge Issaquah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Inglemoor are facing Issaquah at the right time seeing as Issaquah are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bothell/Inglemoor, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Redmond at 7:30 p.m.
