Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt managed to keep up with GlenOak until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rough Riders came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Roosevelt can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while GlenOak are ranked 43rd).

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3. As for GlenOak, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Roosevelt has already played their next match, a 4-0 defeat against North Royalton on the 4th. As for GlenOak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Marlington on the 4th.
