Baseball Recap: Walhalla Comes Up Short

Walhalla lost against Seneca last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Walhalla Razorbacks fell 8-5 to the Seneca Bobcats.

Collin Phillips was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Seneca, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Walhalla will challenge Pendleton at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Seneca, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Seneca Bobcats take on Daniel Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
