Volleyball Recap: Menlo-Atherton Extends Winning Streak to Four

Menlo-Atherton came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Aragon Dons as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Dons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

While Menlo-Atherton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-16.

Peter Chriss paced Menlo-Atherton's offense, picking up 16 kills. Chriss got some help from Coen Chou and his 20 assists. Nick Sandoval controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Menlo-Atherton's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Aragon, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menlo-Atherton will face off against Burlingame at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Aragon, they will square off against San Mateo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
