Casey-Westfield had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Okaw Valley Timberwolves, posting a 55-26 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won six in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Leighton Jones, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 16 points and four steals. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson High, who posted eight points and six boards.

Casey-Westfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 14 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Casey-Westfield will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Cumberland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Okaw Valley, they will take on Newton at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
