Baseball Recap: Skyridge Victorious

Skyridge saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Park City Miners by a score of 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Rip Roberts was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Roberts was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.

Roberts wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Max Johanson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Park City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Skyridge will head out on the road to face off against Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park City, they will take on East in a tournament on Friday.
