Volleyball Recap: Air Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Air Academy lost against Lewis-Palmer back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kadets fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 3-2. The Kadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Rosie Harmes and Elly Siebert, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Audrey Husemann and her nine assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Cady Knight went supernova For Lewis-Palmer., getting 25 digs and two aces. Knight is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Ivall, who had 17 assists and 12 digs.

Air Academy suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Lewis-Palmer, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Air Academy will take on rival Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer is set to challenge their familiar foe Discovery Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
