Basketball Game Preview: Clinch County Panthers vs. Coffee Trojans

The Clinch County Panthers will challenge the Coffee Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Clinch County's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Coffee has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Saturday, Clinch County greeted the New Year with with a 58-41 win over Atkinson County. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Rebels are ranked 411th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Coffee came up short against Thomas County Central on Saturday and fell 66-58.

Clinch County's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Coffee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Everything came up roses for Clinch County against Coffee when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 82-51 win. Does Clinch County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coffee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
