Basketball Recap: Center Point-Urbana's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Center Point-Urbana had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Marion Wolves with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 59-43. This was payback for the Stormin' Pointers, who suffered a 61-33 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win got Center Point-Urbana back to even at 6-6. As for Marion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Center Point-Urbana will face off against West Delaware at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Vernon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Marion likes a good challenge.
