Basketball Recap: Kingman Takes a Loss

Kingman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 71-38 defeat at the hands of the Kingman Academy Tigers. The Bulldogs lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 41-33 score last time.

Josh White was nothing short of spectacular for Kingman Academy: he dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, White is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game. Kasen Lingenfelter was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 16 points.

Kingman's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kingman Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Kingman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-27 defeat against Lee Williams on the 10th. As for Kingman Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-28 victory against Williams on the 11th.
