Tabb entered their tilt with Bruton on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Tabb got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 25-19, 20-25, 25-18.

Leading Tabb to victory were Ayla Sharp and Addison Burhite. Sharp had 17 digs and 17 assists, while Burhite had 16 digs and five aces. Those 17 digs gave Sharp a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Tabb was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Tabb's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Bruton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
