Basketball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay lost against Marked Tree back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bay Yellowjackets came up short against the Marked Tree Indians, falling 65-44. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Indians are ranked 84th).

This is the second loss in a row for Bay and nudges their season record down to 4-18. As for Marked Tree, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Bay has already played their next game (against Cross County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Marked Tree didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-26 victory against Crowley's Ridge Academy on the 28th.
