Soccer Game Preview: Klein Cain vs. Klein Collins

The Klein Cain Hurricanes will face off against the Klein Collins Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein Cain will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Klein Cain is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Klein Forest get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Friday. Given Klein Cain's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 270th, while Klein Forest are ranked 548th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Klein Cain's offense was hitting Klein Forest from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Lucy Blackhurst led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Klein Collins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Magnolia by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for Klein Collins as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Klein Cain's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Klein Collins, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10-1.

Klein Cain came out on top in a nail-biter against Klein Collins when the teams last played back in March of 2025, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Hurricanes repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
