Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Aubrey Rogers walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls 10-9. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on six straight.

Delaney McCroskery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and eight unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Sophia Truchan and Jayline Martinez did most of the damage at the plate: Truchan went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run, while Martinez got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave Martinez a new career-high.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Aubrey Rogers kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 6-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Aubrey Rogers now has a winning record of 14-13. As for LaBelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.

As of now, neither Aubrey Rogers nor the Cowboys/Cowgirls have any future games scheduled.
