Basketball Recap: Concord Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Southlake Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concord Academy). They blew past SouthLake Christian Academy 85-22 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for Concord Academy, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Concord Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Smith, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 steals. Those 13 steals gave Smith a new career-high. Jada Powell was another key player, shooting 44% from the field on her way to 20 points in addition to five boards and five steals.
