Softball Recap: Centennial Golden Hawks vs. Garces Memorial Rams
Centennial and Garces Memorial squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Hawks in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.
Centennial got a good showing from Brynlee George, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. George has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.
