Volleyball Recap: Williams Field Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Williams Field won the last time they faced Gilbert, and Tragdon Jenkins did his part to make sure it happened again. The Black Hawks put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Jenkins, who had 11 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games he's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Williams Field was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-11, 25-14.

Williams Field has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Gilbert, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-16.

Coming up, Williams Field will square off against Desert Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gilbert, they will challenge Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
