Basketball Game Preview: Cambridge Bobcats vs. St. Clairsville Red Devils

Cambridge is on a four-game streak of home losses, St. Clairsville a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Cambridge Bobcats will host the St. Clairsville Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Monday, Cambridge took a blow against Martins Ferry, falling 80-43. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 634th, while the Purple Riders are ranked 167th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-25, which was the final score in St. Clairsville's tilt against Martins Ferry on Saturday.

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. Clairsville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
