Recap: East Lee County Jaguars vs. Riverdale Raiders
The East Lee County Jaguars pushed their score all the way to 59 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 63-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Riverdale. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (56), East Lee County still had to take the loss.
Destin Bess continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Riverdale, scoring 22 points along with 7 rebounds. The game was Bess' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jamar Underwood was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
East Lee County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Riverdale, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
East Lee County will stay at home for another game and welcome North Fort Myers at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. North Fort Myers has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Riverdale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lehigh at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st.
