Riverside is a perfect 10-0 against Cross County since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rebels will challenge the Thunderbirds at 4:30 p.m.

Riverside lost 11-1 to Paragould on Thursday. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cross County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over the Yellowjackets.

The win got Cross County back to even at 8-8. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

Riverside got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Cross County by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
