Basketball Recap: Newbury Park Takes a Loss

Newbury Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 66-47 to the Thousand Oaks Lancers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 695th, while the Lancers are ranked 278th).

Newbury Park now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Thousand Oaks, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Newbury Park has already played their next matchup (against Agoura), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Thousand Oaks is taking a road trip to take on Oaks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oaks Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Thousand Oaks surely won't give up without a fight.
