Soccer Recap: Jones Comes Up Short

Jones and Davenport squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jones had to settle for second. They came up short against Wolves, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Jones' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Davenport, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4-3.

Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davenport, they will square off against Marble Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
