Softball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

If Stratford was feeling good fresh off their 20-4 takedown of Pearl-Cohn last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans came up short against the East Nashville Magnet Eagles on Tuesday, falling 32-6. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for East Nashville Magnet, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Stratford and East Nashville Magnet will both be playing Whites Creek the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Cobras at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
