Basketball Recap: Titusville Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Edgewood came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Titusville, but Kennedie Sanders wouldn't allow it. The Titusville Terriers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 28-25 win over the Edgewood Red Wolves on Thursday thanks in part to Sanders, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season.

Titusville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Edgewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Titusville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-24 loss against Space Coast on the 22nd. As for Edgewood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-26 victory against Merritt Island on the 17th.
