Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-46 back in January.

Shepaug Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reed Woerner out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine rebounds. Woerner's big performance that evening made it 23 games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was James Kersten, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine boards.

Haddam-Killingworth has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. Shepaug Valley's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-0.
