Gibson Southern added to the longest winning streak in Pocket this week by beating Brownstown Central, 44-29. The victory was the 13th in a row for the Titans.
Gibson Southern took down the Braves 44-29 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Nick Hart's team's Nick Sellers and Griffin Scheller led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Sellers has thrown for 2,341 yards this season, while Scheller has 25 catches for 701 yards. Elliott Brown from Tell City leads the league in rushing with 1,906 yards.
The Titans' Austin Peyton needs only 22 yards against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Peyton has rushed for 978 yards on 145 carries so far this year.
Gibson Southern led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Brownstown Central.
