Soccer Game Preview: Swainsboro vs. Bleckley County

Swainsboro is 0-8 against Bleckley County since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Swainsboro Tigers will look to defend their home pitch against the Bleckley County Royals at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Swainsboro comes in on three and Bleckley County on six.

While Swainsboro didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Wheeler County by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Swainsboro hit Wheeler County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kayla Crabb, Natalya Sannicolas, and Dekota Mason.

Meanwhile, Bleckley County made easy work of Jefferson County on Thursday and carried off a 5-1 victory. Considering the Royals have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bleckley County's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matches. As for Swainsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
