Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 on May 9th.

Jennings County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Speer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Zane Weinhorst was another, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Jennings County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Batesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
