Football Recap: Strong Rock Christian Piles Up the Points Against Loganville Christian Academy + How To Watch

Strong Rock Christian barely beat Loganville Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Lions 54-26. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Strong Rock Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Johnson, who rushed for 109 yards and four scores on only 14 carries. Johnson didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Blake Hahn also helped out as he racked up 110 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Strong Rock Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 301 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Strong Rock Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cooper Vasil and Johnson.

Despite the loss, Loganville Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Kylan Fryar, who rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 213 yards and one TD. Fryar really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.

The victory got Strong Rock Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, Strong Rock Christian will face off against Athens Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they will challenge Gatewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
