Soccer Recap: Hope Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Hope was not quite St. Raphael Academy's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the Saints. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hope of the 6-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Hope now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Raphael Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hope will square off against rival Smithfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Raphael Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Tiverton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
