Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Red Devils vs. Leipsic Vikings

The Arlington Red Devils will head out to take on the Leipsic Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Arlington and four for Leipsic.

On Monday, Arlington came up short against Cory-Rawson and fell 52-44.

Meanwhile, Leipsic played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 59-24 loss at the hands of Kalida. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 651st, while the Wildcats are ranked 162nd).

Leipsic's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Arlington couldn't quite finish off Leipsic in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 and fell 53-51. Can Arlington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
