Baseball Recap: Blue Earth Comes Up Short

Blue Earth lost against Luverne back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buccaneers lost 15-5 to the Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that the Buccaneers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Peyton O'Hara made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Logan Rademaker also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Blue Earth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Luverne, the win was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Blue Earth will venture away from home to take on Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Blue Earth is facing Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at the right time seeing as Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Luverne, they will be playing at home against Esko at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
