Issaquah had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Lake Stevens Vikings. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Shae Erickson (2027) made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sadie Huryn (2025), who went 3-for-4 with two runs.

Issaquah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.

Issaquah's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Lake Stevens, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 15-9 record.

As of now, neither Issaquah nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
