Baseball Recap: Langtree Charter Academy Find Success

Langtree Charter Academy hadn't done well against Mountain Island Charter recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Langtree Charter Academy had just enough and edged out Mountain Island Charter 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted against the Raptors since April 26, 2022.

Easton Roschke was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

In other batting news, Tanner Lewis was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Langtree Charter Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Mountain Island Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
