While Crescent's victory against Dixie wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 win over the Hornets on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won six in a row.

Crescent's record now sits at 15-7. As for Dixie, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-7.

Coming up, Crescent will head out to challenge Seneca at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Dixie will be paying especially close attention to Crescent's matchup: after Crescent faces off against Seneca, they'll take on Dixie again at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
